Your mind is your asset. It’s going to be with you for your entire lifetime, so there’s no better time than now to start making it work for you.
You don’t have to have a million social followers. You don’t have to be rich or famous. You don’t have to come up with the next big app or run for president. You just have to serve.
Who you become as a person is up to you. Up to your will, your determination and your imagination. It’s also up to you to know when to say “yes” and when to say “no.”
While you are traveling along the bumpy, broken road called life, remember to be kind. Everyone else is traveling, too, and they’re often dealing with their own stuff that can be unimaginable.
When it feels like we have nothing to give or there’s nothing we can do, we each have the ability to offer our love to another.
What isn’t ever an illusion is love. Love is what we can count on. Love is what heals fear. Love is what calms anxious hearts, bodies and minds. Love is a gift each of us has to offer our fellow human beings.
We live in a fast-paced, tough and cold world. Let’s make a choice to be conscious, caring and compassionate to ourselves and others, every day of the year.
We deserve a future that’s brighter than darker, more compassionate than critical, and more honest than what we have today.
We all have mental health issues. That doesn’t make us weird or weak. That makes us human.
We all have a role to play. And each one is an important piece in this puzzle that makes up our world.
Today I hope you spend less time worried about what you’re not doing and more time imagining what you, and only you, can do with your time here on this earth. Don’t let it run out. Make it count.
To be curious – to be open to change – means you are alive. More importantly, it means that you are awake in your own life.
There are times in life when answers aren’t what we need. We just need to listen. Listen without judgement. Listen to the wails. Listen to the fear. Listen to the divide.
There are so many ways to tap into our imaginations. We just have to calm our minds, listen to what’s within and let the ideas flow.
The truth is, it’s not selfish to spend learning how to redirect your thoughts. It’s crucial if you want to live in your power, in your center, in your certainty.
The power of gratitude. It can turn a bad day into a good one. It can make you look at your life in a different way. It can make the difference in how thankful you are, not just during the holidays, but every day.
Start where you are. Align yourself with your heart and your mind. Focus on your mission. The past is gone
Remember that you are among the blessed. You are still here, so you still have a shot to make an impact with your life and benefit others.
Power comes from presence, from values, from belief, from within.
Our minds are something we all have in common. Together, we can save them.
Our goal must be to create a more caring, compassionate, and collaborative society. If we can’t be kind together, then we’re never going to be able to work together or move this world forward together.
None of us should ever underestimate our individual power to move people.
No matter your age, no matter your income, no matter what life has thrown your way, your mind will be your best ally in moving you forward.
Motherhood: it’s a 24 hours a day on the frontlines of humanity. The most powerful, awe-inspiring, legacy-creating, impact-job on the planet. It’s better than an Emmy, an Oscar, a Tony, a best-selling whatever and money in the bank. Period. End of story.
May we honor mothering for what it is: the hardest job in the world. It’s one that deserves our respect, our devotion and our love.
Many see care as soft, but it’s anything but. It takes courage to care. It takes passion to stand up for someone or something you believe in and care about.
Make history in your world… you never know who might end up changing the world because of you.
Love is not weak. It’s incredibly strong. It requires great strength to love. Love is what our world needs now more than ever. Love is also what we each need.
It takes great strength to accept and love yourself just the way you are. It is something that we should all try to do more of.
It is empowering to think that each of us has a choice. Each of us can change course at anytime and redirect our lives to become who we want to be.
In this week, at this time, when it’s hard to know exactly what to think… Don’t think. Don’t doubt. Just feel. Feel the love. Let it in. Let it heal. That’s what love can do. That’s what love does.
If you have love in your heart, step up. YOU are what the world needs now more than ever.
If you are strong on the inside, you can be a better person, a better parent, and a better professional. When you give to yourself, you can give back to others from a place of strength.
If we all took a deep breath, assumed the best instead of the worst, and challenged ourselves to find common ground, and common good, then we could emerge as leaders who have one another’s best interests at heart.

I don’t like things the way they are supposed to be. No Architect of Change does. We challenge what is and imagine what can be. But we also have the courage to move forward.
I believe that we all have the power within us to make this a better world – not just for you, but for everyone whose paths we cross.
I admit I love a good present and I love giving presents as well, but deep love doesn’t come in a box. It comes from a feeling deep in your soul.
Fighting against those feelings that freeze us in place can also bring our the best in us. It can reveal a strength you never knew you had, a voice you don’t recognize as your own. It can also make you make a move in hindsight could only be described as bold and brave.
Everything comes down to your capacity for presence. Your mind dwells in the past and the future. Work with it to focus on the present.
Each of us has the opportunity to take a shot at writing our legacies, and just because it might not be on the scale of someone running for President, it doesn’t mean it doesn’t have importance, meaning or value.
Conversations open hearts and minds. They make us stop, feel, connect, think. They give us insight, information and inspire us forward.

Be strong enough to ask for help. Be vulnerable enough to share your desire or need. Be brave enough to say thank you.
Be grateful for your work and to the people who help you. And by all means, stay humble and open. All of those experiences help awaken you and your life to the world around you.
As a nation, we must pause to catch our breath. Let’s breathe new life into our hearts, our minds, our communities, our cultures and our country.
All of us have the ability to “create a state” within – a state of hope, of inspiration, of love, of courage, of compassion and of possibility.
All of these stories, these uprisings, are bigger than any one person or any one city. Healing is needed all over our country. In our hearts, in our minds and in our language.
All I know is that whenever I have stopped on a personal level to listen, I have made progress. All I know is that whenever I’ve been involved with trying to outdo another, I’ve never gotten anywhere.
A new year looms on the horizon, but you can start today.
